Biography
Stephanie Herber, MSN, RN IV, CCRN, CNL, is a Pediatric Practice Specialist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She graduated with her ASN in 2006 and will complete her DNP in May 2024. She has been a nurse for over 17 years. She began her nursing career in the adult ICU and switched to the pediatric ICU in 2008 where she has been for the last 15 years. Stephanie has developed and led many unit and house wide initiatives to improve practice nd fix issues. As part of her leadership engagement, she has previously been the lead for the PICU Practice Council for six years, the Chair-Nursing Profession for Housewide Practice, and is currently the Chair for the Equipment and Standards Team for Housewide Equipment. She has been awarded the Leadership in Nursing (2023) and nominated for the Rising Star Leadership Program (2021). Stephanie was recently chosen to represent CCHMC as the Honorary Captain, met with the Reds' umpire crew and coaches from both the Reds and the Mets.
