Janey Barnes, PhD is a human factors specialist and principal of User-View, Inc. User-View is a human factors, user experience, and design consultancy. Janey leads teams who lead client programs that encompass every aspect of human factors. Throughout her career, Janey has worked with clients in the healthcare, medical device, automotive, consumer product, and financial industries. Janey and the User-View team conduct state of the art user-centered research and design to support client programs. Project work spans user-based research from requirements gathering to validation usability testing. Janey is affiliated with several professional organizations and participates in these organizations by planning conferences, teaching workshops, and making presentations. Janey serves on the AAMI Human Factors Committee, AAMI Health IT Usability Group, Digital Therapeutics Alliance Workgroups, and Triangle UXPA Advisory Board.
