Danny Nou is the Senior Manager of Human Factors and Design at Abbott - Rapid Diagnostics. Danny is an expert in human factors, user research, and design in the fields of medical devices, technology, and automotive spaces. He has worked on many groundbreaking products such as BinaxNOW COVID-19, the market-leading over-the-counter COVID-19 test, Meta’s Portal smart home devices and AR/VR headsets, and Regeneron’s Dupixent autoinjector projects to name a few. Danny has spoken at the renowned TEDx conference on user-centered design in medical devices, written academic textbooks on ergonomics, and overseen the creation and deployment of various research (qualitative and quantitative) and design (UX and Industrial) teams. Danny has received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of California Davis.
