Natalie Shortt
Biography
Natalie Shortt is the Human Factors Technical Lead at Harvey Medical, a ClariMed company based in Cambridge, UK. ClariMed is a best-in-class consultancy focused on integrating human factors engineering and user experience design into medical product development to optimize devices and therapies for patient usability and safety.
She received her BSc. degree from Loughborough University (UK) in Ergonomics (Human Factors) in 2014. Natalie has worked in usability engineering for medical devices (and combination products) since 2015 and works closely with clients to plan HF activities but also integrate those activities into pre-existing Quality and Operating procedures. Other responsibilities include designing and moderating formative and validation studies, writing reports and working with standards when relevant as a volunteer for the British Standards Institution
