Yoko Fukumura, MA, OTR/L, is a PhD Candidate at University of Southern California Mrs. T. H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. She is a research assistant in the Musculoskeletal Sonography and Occupational Performance Lab with Dr. Shawn Roll, where she has worked on projects related to the development of artificial intelligence workstations for office workers, investigating work-related injury in dental hygienists, and most recently, identifying risk and support for health and well-being in sonographers. Yoko's research interests include enhancing workplace environments through systems approaches and centering worker perspectives in worker wellness efforts.
