Natalie Abts is the Head of Human Factors Engineering at Genentech, where she manages a team of human factors engineers and provides strategic input for Device and Packaging Development as part of the department leadership team. Before joining Genentech, Natalie worked in human factors consulting, focusing exclusively on the medical field. She has wide-ranging experience in usability methods and evaluation of various device types. Natalie received a bachelor’s degree in art and a master’s degree in industrial engineering with a focus on human factors and ergonomics from the University of Wisconsin.
