Biography
Carlyn Ellison Keeler, Ph.D., MPH is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At the University of Florida, Dr. Ellison Keeler completed her bachelor’s degree in health science in 2017, her master’s degree in public health in 2018, and her Ph.D. in rehabilitation science in 2023. As the site lead for the ENACT Study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she investigates how older adults adapt to cognitive challenges from mild cognitive impairment (MCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and stroke. Dr. Ellison Keeler's research focuses on optimizing independent living and examining the user experience of technology interventions.
