Eleanore Dias
Biography
Eleanore Dias is the Lead Human Factors Engineer at GE HealthCare. In this role, she leads the Global Usability team within the Maternal and Infant Care (MIC) and applies Human Factors, Usability, and Risk Management principles during the design and development of MIC medical devices. Her professional experience and training has spanned the domains of Human Factors & Usability Engineering, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, Internal & External Auditing, Design Controls, Quality Engineering, and Global Service at multiple medical device manufacturers (such as Philips, IBM Watson Health, and Mortara Instrument). Eleanore has earned a M.S.E degree in Systems Engineering, from the Johns Hopkins University, with a specialized focus in Human Systems Engineering and a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University. She also holds a User Experience Certification with a specialty in Interaction Design from Nielsen Norman group.
