Patient Safety Specialist, MSN, RN. Dedicated to patient/staff/organizational safety using a systems approach, Sally serves as an internal expert/consultant and coordinates activities of clinical case, focus studies and aggregate data analysis. Sally collects/processes quality data by providing relevant clinician facing summaries that promote performance improvement action. Sally participates in activities designed to improve quality of care through active/direct facilitation of initiatives designed to improve process of care/outcomes, reduction of medical errors, preventable harm and hospital acquired conditions. Sally conducts and facilitates credible root cause analysis on patient safety events through to implementation and control phase of monitoring to sustain improvement.
