Presenter

Kristen is a Human Factors Engineer at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She didn’t speak until she was 5 years old, so now she is never quiet. Kristen’s passion lies in improving systems that facilitate communication and shared mental models. She endeavors to be a voice that advocates for user-centered design at the micro and macro level. Pulling from her own experiences as a patient, she champions improvement that puts the patient’s needs first. In her free time, she quilting and SCUBA, grooming her ceaselessly shedding husky, and poorly attempting to rock climb.
