Matt Jesso is the Director of Systems Quality & Performance Improvement at The Guthrie Clinic. New to Guthrie, Matt came from Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. He has worked under the Quality/Patient Safety umbrella for Carilion Clinic for 6 years. Matt has also been worked as a consultant for Jefferson health in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and for a grant in collaboration with Virginia Tech.

While working as a technician in direct patient care for behavioral health services Matt received his M.A. in Human Factors and Applied Cognition from George Mason University and has an Associate certification by the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics.
