Purbasha Halder is a Lead Human Factors Engineer with Maternal Infant Care in GE HealthCare. In this role she applies Human Factors, Usability, and Design principles during the design and development of MIC medical devices as well as for ensuring that the Usability process is followed for products in the field. She has over 17 years of experience in academic and industrial research, design, development and quality/regulatory functions, including 6 years in the healthcare industry. Purbasha holds a Master's degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science and a PhD in physics from the University of Hamburg.
