Avinash Gupta completed his Doctoral Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University. He graduated with his Master’s Degree in Product Design and Manufacturing and his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. His Ph.D. research focuses on the creation of HCI based framework for the design of Extended Reality (XR) based training simulators for the healthcare context. Apart from the healthcare domain, he is also involved in research applicable to other domains such as manufacturing, space systems, and education.
