Biography
Tricia L. Gibo received her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California in 2007, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Johns Hopkins University in 2009 and 2013, respectively, in mechanical engineering. At Johns Hopkins University, her research focused on human-robot interaction, human factors, human movement, and haptics. Tricia is currently a Usability Engineer within Image Guided Therapy Systems at Philips Medical Systems, where she helps develop the Azurion System. Prior to joining Philips, Tricia was a Lead Human Factors Specialist at Emergo by UL, where she led usability evaluations and helped manufacturers implement strategies to meet regulatory requirements, particularly for complex and high-risk medical systems.
