Biography
Michael W. Boyce, PhD currently serves as a Human Factors Engineer for the Yale New Haven Health System where his emphasis is on measurement of simulation to improve human performance. Michael sits within the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation, which focuses on training activities for healthcare professionals. Prior to joining Yale New Haven Health, Michael served as a Research Psychologist in simulation and training for the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center / Army Cyber Institute, West Point, NY. His current research focuses on the assessment and training of hand hygiene techniques as well as working several assessment related safety projects for the hospital. Michael has his MSc in Human Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech, and his PhD in Applied/Experimental Human Factors from the University of Central Florida.
