Nicole Yamada
Biography
Nicole Yamada, MD, MS is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University. She is an attending neonatologist in the Level IV neonatal intensive care unit at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and Medical Director of the LPCH Neonatal Critical Care Transport Team. She has a Master of Science in Human Factors and Ergonomics from San Jose State University. Her clinical and research interests are in neonatal resuscitation and improving human performance within this realm. Dr. Yamada is a member of the NRP Steering Committee and the AHA Neonatal Life Support Writing Group, and she is an associate member of the Neonatal Task Force of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation. She is an experienced simulation instructor, debriefer, and researcher, and she is the Associate Director of the Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Education (CAPE) at Stanford.
