Marissa Docimo, is a Senior Human Factors Consultant at Core Human Factors, A Rimkus Company. She has over 10 years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research within industry, healthcare, and academic settings. Marissa holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Science from the University of Delaware and a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University. She has worked as a human factors consultant for the past three years, specializing in medical devices and combination products. Her experience includes a wide collection of products ranging from drug delivery devices to medical monitoring equipment to smartphone apps. In addition to designing and conducting human factors studies, she is a member of the Core Institutional Review Board (IRB) where she is responsible for reviewing research plans for the ethical treatment of human subjects within behavioral and human factors studies.
