I am an Industrial and Systems Engineering Ph.D. candidate with a research focus on the application of Robotics, AI/ML, and human-centered design in healthcare (specifically, the Nursing process). My research interests are centered around the application of qualitative analytics – a combination of human-centered design methods, big data analytics, and AI/ML towards decision science innovation/improvement in the areas of healthcare processes. Specifically, I am working on collaborative research with SUNY Downstate to map and describe nursing care processes by systematically documenting and describing nursing work, identifying variations in care processes, and nurse experiences throughout the entire work shifts. Outside of school and work, I enjoy binge-watching crime TV shows and swimming when I can.
