Dr. van Zundert is a former Professor of Anesthesiology at universities of Ghent (Belgium), Brabant Medical School & Maastricht (The Netherlands). He is currently a Professor at the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and Queensland Brain Institute & Udayana University (Indonesia). Furthermore, he is the current Chairperson of: a) RBWH 'Burns, Trauma, Critical Care Research Centre' and b) RBWH/UQ 'Centre for Excellence & Innovation in Anesthesia' in Brisbane, Australia.
