As a Human Factors Engineer, Jan is responsible for supporting a variety of projects from early formative work through to validation studies. With previous experience applying human factors best practices, Jan devotes his time to increasing safety and usability in medical devices and consumer products. He is an eternally curious person and is passionate about optimizing use workflows. An experienced moderator, he leads formative and summative usability testing projects and produces documentation for regulatory submissions.

Jan holds an M.Sc. in Human Factors and Engineering Psychology from the University of Twente in the Netherlands, allowing him to apply a deep understanding of human cognition to his work. His thesis was focused on the analysis of electrodermal activity data captured using wearables.
