Dr. Charlie Kemp is a roboticist and a recognized expert on mobile manipulation. He founded the Healthcare Robotics Lab at Georgia Tech, where he was an associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and co-founded Hello Robot Inc. with Aaron Edsinger. His lab has extensively researched mobile manipulators to assist older adults and people with disabilities. He has also invented robots like EI-E, Dusty, and NewRo.
