Chelsea Wanta is the Experience Design Director, Usability at GE HealthCare. In this role, she leads a team of Usability Engineers that apply Human Factors principles and methods to support the design of medical device user interfaces across Imaging and Digital product families. Chelsea has extensive experience in leading and implementing global processes for Usability Engineering and User-Centered Design. She has also participated on the AAMI and IEC Human Factors committees, representing GE HealthCare for many years. Chelsea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
