Dr. Katherine Berry is a founding partner at Fort Hill Group in Washington, DC. Katie has applied
operational human factors and safety techniques to assess and improve operational human performance in a variety of domains including air traffic control, surface transportation, wind turbine maintenance, mining, and amusement park operations. Katie and Fort Hill Group have supported the Federal Aviation Administration in improving human performance and safety in air traffic operations by identifying and mitigating human factors safety issues in current day
operations. Katie holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on human factors from Clemson University.
