Ms. Coughlin is a UX/UI Designer and Human Factors Researcher on the Human Centric Design team with four (4) years of experience creating data-driven designs. She has worked within the medical, safety, and consumer industries alongside teams of industrial/UX/UI designers, and mechanical/software/electrical/human factors engineers. She has been instrumental in front-end research for medical devices using contextual inquiries, preference studies, and focus groups. Ms. Coughlin is also experienced in formative and summative human factors study planning and with data collection.

In addition to human factors research, Ms. Coughlin is an experienced Medical Device Instructions for Use designer developing both content and illustrations. She continues to play a role in multiple user experience and interface design related activities for website design and branding. Ms. Coughlin has a rich background in Industrial Design, three-dimensional designs, digital assets, 3D printing, foam core modeling, prototyping, CAD, Keyshot renderings, video editing, and animations.
