Madison Laskowski, MS presently serves as a Human Factors Engineer at Design Science, a leading consultancy committed to improving the interfaces between people and medical products. Her role involves applying technical expertise from a wide array of social science and design disciplines to enhance the usability, safety, and appeal of these products. Madison has also held a key position as a representative member on the AAMI Human Factors Engineering Committee, where she has represented the viewpoints and strategies of Design Science. Prior to her employment, Madison pursued graduate studies in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University, with a focus on regenerative engineering and product design. Her research centered on creating biological alternatives for damaged tissues and dysfunctional organs, utilizing advanced techniques such as 3D printing and laser cutting.
