Dr. Tracy L. Mitzner is a Principal Research Scientist at Person in Design, a consulting firm specializing in leveraging scientific research to drive technology design for older adults, including those with disabilities. Her research topics include older adults' acceptance and usage of emerging technologies (mobile applications, health monitoring, telepresence, robotics), particularly for applications to facilitate social and physical wellness. She is a co-Director of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) funded, Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) Technologies to Support Successful Aging with Disability (TechSAge).
