Biography
Allison Kampa, Ph.D., is a Human Factors Manager at Core Human Factors, A Rimkus Company. She has over 9 years of experience conducting social sciences research within industry and academia. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and French Literature from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from New York University. She has worked as a human factors consultant for the past 3 years, specializing in medical devices and combination products. Allison supports large and small medical device and pharmaceutical companies with product portfolios spanning many areas of the healthcare space. Additionally, she has been a member of the Core Institutional Review Board (IRB) for three years. Core IRB specializes in reviewing research plans for the ethical treatment of human subjects within behavioral and human factors studies. Core IRB is registered with the Office of Human Research Protections.
