Leilei Zhang has a Ph.D in biomedical engineering with 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and medical device company on multiple combination products and medical devices. Leilei currently works as an associated principal scientist at Merck. As a combination product program lead, he has led product developments in both clinical phases and commercial phases, including combination product strategy development, human factor evaluation, design verification, and clinical/commercial manufacturing. Before joining to Merck, Leilei held multiple positions in Becton Dickinson, and Company (BD) from project engineering, R&D team lead, and cross-functional team lead.
